By Bike:
From the Western Maryland Rail Trail or the C&O Towpath look for the Red Barn that is on between the two Trails.
Bikes are parked in the Red Barn. Once bikes are parked, walk up to Main Street. With the Red Barn on your right, walk up to Main Street.
Turn left and it is the 2nd building. There is a tucked in doorway that has a mailbox and a metal bike by the mailbox on the wall. The building has a storefront that has painted bikes in the window.
By Car:
Park on the street. Do not park in the gravel lot next door as that is owned by someone else. Even though there are parking meters the no one uses them.
By Spaceship:
From the air locate the River, the Red Barn and the crazy steps going up the back of my building.

Hi, I am Jackie. I am the owner of 51 W. Main Street, Hancock, MD. In my 50’s a client from the past sent a bike to me as a gift. Many years ago, I helped a broke kid who later became an Executive with Trek Bicycles.
I had not been on a bike since I was a teenager. After a bit of practice and some skinned knees, I did a “good for the soul,” solo trip of the C&O. My love affair with the trail began.
Spending time on the C&O I realized that cyclists needed more places to stay. In December of 2021 I purchased 51 W. Main Street and wrote myself herself into Hancock history. A woman buying a place without a husband or father ruffled Hancock feathers. I am still creating shockwaves in the town today.
